What is happening?
FreeWheel is migrating its Strata hosted solution for applications and Seller products from Citrix to Amazon AppStream. Users will notice a different landing page upon logging in, but the overall look-and-feel of all Strata applications will remain unchanged.
Who is affected?
All Agency and Seller Strata clients. This does not impact OneStrata Digital users.
When is it happening?
Clients will be migrated on a rolling schedule across 10 waves, starting on June 10, 2024, and concluding October 21.
How is this happening?
During each wave, users will follow a pre-defined migration path, which includes attending an informational webinar followed by a two-week period where users can access their hosted applications via AppStream or Citrix environments. After the two-week period, only the AppStream environment will be available to that wave.
Benefits of AppStream
- No New Software: Amazon AppStream is entirely cloud-based, so users will not need to download and install new software. Accessing and interacting with the new interface is as simple as opening a webpage.
- No Changes to Usernames or Passwords: Clients will use the same username and password as they currently use.
- The Same Strata Solutions: Agency and Seller clients will retain their same access to all Strata applications after this migration
- Exceptional Support: The FreeWheel client and support teams will be available to address questions or concerns that arise throughout the process.
