To upgrade your AppStream Client App 2.0 to the latest version, you'll need to download and install the newest version from the Amazon AppStream website. The process is straightforward and similar to the initial installation.
Download and Installation Steps
1. To Download the latest version of the AppStream Clietn App use this link: AppStream Client App Download
2. Once downloaded, double-click the installer file within the browser window.
(Optionally) Open the installer file from the Download folder.
3. The following popup will display and then remove from the screen.
4. In the Optional Components prompt, click Finish.
5. The installation will complete and the application should launch automatically. If it doesn't start on its own, you can search for "Amazon AppStream 2.0" on your computer and open it.
Connecting After Installation
After upgrading, when you open the AppStream 2.0 Client App:
Enter your appropriate FreeWheel site URL:
- Agency buyers: https://buy.strata.freewheel.com
- TV/MVPD sellers: https://sell.strata.freewheel.com
- Radio sellers: https://radio.strata.freewheel.com
Important: Make sure to select the "Start in native application mode" checkbox before clicking Connect
Tip for Easy Access
After installation, you may want to pin the Amazon AppStream 2.0 application to your taskbar for quick access. To do this, right-click the icon on the taskbar and select "Pin to taskbar".
