Printing in the AppStream Client App
The AppStream 2.0 Client Application for Windows allows you print documents from Freewheel apps by redirecting print jobs from your streaming session to a printer that is connected to your local computer, including any mapped network printers. By default, local printer redirection is enabled when the AppStream 2.0 Client Application is installed. You don't need a printer driver installed to print documents during streaming sessions. If you haven't installed the AppStream 2.0 Client Application for Windows on your workstation, review the Support Portal article Installing the AppStream Client App (PC) for help.
Printing Steps:
Some Freewheel applications allow printing through an available Print button and some applications have a print option in their corresponding Print Preview screen. With both options the steps to print are the same.To begin, login to AppStream 2.0 Client Application and open an app from the Application Launcher window. For this example View will be used to demonstrate printing a Web Report.
In View, create a buy or open a saved buy.
Next, generate a Web Report.
Click the Print button to display the Print dialog.
In the Print dialog, search and select your printer. Click Print.
The print job will be sent to the selected printer and the document will print.
