AppStream - How To Move Billing Files
Creating and moving billing files from AppStream to local computers will require the use of My Files for downloading.
When creating billing files from within SBMS, first setup the default Out File Path to the Home folder. Open SBMS, navigate to the Tools menu, and double-click Default Settings.
To update the Out File Path to the Home folder, click the lightning bolt icon in the General tab.
In the Browse For Folder window, click on This PC, click on Home Folder, and then click OK.
The Out File Path field in SBMS will update to the Home Folder destination. This will ensure all billing files will be exported to the location within AppStream for movement to your local computer.
**Proceed with your usual workflow of either billing buys or clearing reconciled invoices for payment. Files will export to the Home Folder.
Accessing Billing Files
Login to your account and open any app, a toolbar will display at the top. The My Files tool is the 3rd available option from left to right.Click the My Files tool to display the My Files popup.
In the My Files dialog, click the Home Folder.
In the Home Folder, available files will display. If no files are available a message displays "No Files: Drag files and folders here, or choose Upload Files(s) to add them." Click on Upload Files.
Downloading Files from My Files (Home Folder)
AppStream allows the download of one or multiple files from My Files to your local computer, network drive, or OneDrive. For this example, files we will download from the Home Folder to the local machine.In My Files, click Home Folder.
Click the Actions button, download option. Select the file(s) you would like to download.
Use the sidebar to quickly search for folders under This PC or Quick Access and access necessary files in the computer.
Buttons in My Files
- Actions - Button that contains options to Rename or Delete files in My Files. The button also contains the Download option to download files from My Files to the computer.
- Create Folder - Button that creates sub-folders within the Home Folder.
- Upload file(s) - Button that accesses the Open popup to upload files into Home Folder.
- Refresh - Button to refresh displayed files and folders in the current location.
