AppStream - Downloading Multiple Files in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge
Using the My Files toolbar icon, you can select and download multiple files at once. If you find that only one file is being downloaded after selecting multiple to download, please make sure the browser setting for pop-ups is set to Allow.
If pop-ups are disabled, after downloading in AppStream, you will see the message "Your file is ready. Pop-up windows are turned off. Click here to download your file."
The following instructions explain how to allow pop-ups for Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
Note: As an alternative, you can zip files into 1 zipped folder to download, and then unzip after downloading. For instructions, please the section on Downloading a Zipped Folder.
Google Chrome:
In Chrome, an icon will be added to the right side of the address bar on top indicating that pop-ups are blocked. See below:
To be able to download multiple files at once, click on the icon in the address bar, and select "Always allow pop-ups and redirects", and click Done.
Then you can select multiple files in the My Files prompt and download multiple files at once.
Firefox:
In Firefox, an icon will be added to the left side of the address bar on top indicating that pop-ups are blocked. See below:
To be able to download multiple files at once, click on the icon in the address bar, and select "Allow".
Alternatively, you can also click on "Options" next to the message "Firefox prevented this site from opening pop-up windows." on top, and select "Allow pop-ups".
Then you can select multiple files in the My Files prompt and download multiple files at once.
Microsoft Edge:
In Edge, an icon will be added to the right side of the address bar on top indicating that pop-ups are blocked. See below:
To be able to download multiple files at once, click on the icon in the address bar, and select "Always allow pop-ups and redirects", and click Done.
Then you can select multiple files in the My Files prompt and download multiple files at once.
