SURVEY AUTO INSTALL PROCESS - UPDATE PASSWORD

 

SurveyManager

This program allows users to automate the download and installation of survey and support filesas they become available on STRATA’s FTP Server. For more information, please refer to the Survey Auto Install Processarticle. This article is an explanation of how to update the STRATA FTP password. Generally, passwords are updated every 6 months.

Launch SurveyManager

1. Open Windows Explorer and browse to the location of the VIEW folder (e.g. X:\STRATA\VIEW).

2. Double-click on the SurveyManager.exe file.

STRATA FTP Settings tab

This tab contains information that will be used by the automatic download program called SyncSurvey to connect to the STRATA FTP Server, determine which surveys to download, and determine where on your local workstation / network servers to download the survey files.

1. Type in the STRATA FTP Username and updated Password.
2. Click the Connect button to verify the login to the STRATA FTP Server is successful with the new password.
3. Click the Save button to save the changes.
4. Click the Exit button to close the screen.
