Overview
The tables below list the Windows™ operating systems, SQL Server versions, and web browsers supported by FWA for use with Agency products.
Supported Windows Operating Systems
Please note the following:
- Support for all OS versions listed in this table assumes use of the latest Service Pack(s).
- FWA supports the use of any supported OS version listed in the table below as an application server.
- FWA does not support the use of any OS version or edition not listed in this table (e.g. Windows XP Home Edition).
- FWA does not support the combined use of SQL Server and OS versions whose combined use is not supported by Microsoft (e.g. SQL Server 2005 running on Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012).

1 FWA does not support the use of any Windows machine running a desktop OS as a SQL Server.
Supported SQL Server Versions
Please note the following:
- Support for all SQL Server versions listed in this table assumes use of the latest Service Pack(s).
- FWA does not support the use of any SQL Server version or edition not explicitly listed in this table (e.g. SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition).
- FWA does not support the combined use of SQL Server and OS versions whose combined use is not supported by Microsoft (e.g. SQL Server 2005 running on Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012).
- FWA does not support the combined use of different versions of SQL Server features (e.g. SQL Server 2014 DB engine with SQL Server 2017 Reporting Services).
