Release Date: January 31, 2025
Missing Traffic
The code used to display missing traffic alerts by length has been updated to consider the date range used for the search. Previously, when various lengths of units run for some weeks and not all, the missing traffic alerts would sometimes display for incorrect date range searches.
Creative
When adding a new Ad-ID either through Instruction or the Creative screen, the HD Video Format selection will verify the Ad-ID code has an H at the end of the code. If the value entered in the Ad-ID field does not include an H at the end, one will be automatically added to the AdID. If the value of the Ad-ID field entered already includes an H, the HD verification in the UI is complete and no other H will be added to the end of it. If the Ad-ID naturally ends with an H (i.e. 123ASH) and a secondary H is necessary to indicate an HD creative, the user will need to add the second H manually (I.e. 123ASHH).

Electronic Send
An Invite More link will now be available for any vendor that already has at least one registered electronic contact in order to invite additional recipients to register to receive electronic traffic. Previously, the Invite link would not be available if the vendor has at least one registered contact

sTraffic Release 10.2
Release Date: February 26, 2023
Features
Instructions
Starting with SBMS v24.4, Invoice Month information is being sent to sTraffic. Instruction lines in sTraffic that span multiple months can now be edited based on Invoice Months that are matched in SBMS.
-
- The End Date of the instruction line can be updated to be greater than or equal to the Broadcast Month end date of the matched Invoice Month. If more than one vendor exists in a Traffic Group, the latest Broadcast Month end date amongst all vendors will be used.
- Other fields that can be edited for a matched instruction line include Rotation %, Tag and Comments.
- The message that displays at the bottom of the Instruction page when locked lines are present has been updated to, “Traffic line contains matched invoices in SBMS. Only vendors and months without matched invoices can be changed."
Instructions
Starting with SBMS v24.4, the vendor name is being sent to sTraffic for matched invoices. Traffic Groups that contain more than one vendor will now only apply locks to the vendors who have matched invoices associated to them. Vendors without locks can be removed from the Traffic Group in order for instructions to be edited if they are different from that of the existing Traffic Group.
Instructions
The Instruction Name can now be edited and saved for Unsent instructions.
sTraffic Release 10.1
Release Date: January 29, 2023
Features
Default Settings
New fields to save Default PFD Send Name and Default PDF Send Email were added to the Agency Settings tab in order to save an overall agency level default Name and Email to be used in the Send screen. These overall Default Name/Email will override the existing send defaults of the user logged in to sTraffic. New Security controls have also been added for these new Default Settings fields.
Report Option Defaults
Added a new option to Share Pre-Set Default which replaces the previous option Copy All Users to add the functionality to share report option defaults to all users in an agency account. This feature creates the distinction between Shared and Private defaults and will indicate that in the drop down. Shared defaults are ones the original creator of the default chooses to distribute to all users in the account. Private defaults are ones only the individual user can use. Previously, Copy to All Users could only be used once, upon the first time creating a new default name.
-
- The option to (add new…) was updated to (add/edit…) in order to allow both adding new defaults and edit existing defaults. Editing access (pencil symbols) were added next to the default names owned by the user and can only be changed by that user. If a Shared default is edited and saved, those changes will be saved for all users it is shared with.
- When new users are added to an sTraffic account, all Shared defaults will automatically be visible to the new users.
- The main 'default' Report Default will remain specific to the sTraffic user and is not available to be shared.
- When saving changes to or adding a new pre-set default using the option Share Pre-Set Default, the following message will appear, "The selected Pre-Set Default [Pre-Set Default Name] will be replaced with the Report Options you chose in previous screen, and old data will be lost. Are you sure you want to replace it?" Yes, will save the changes, No will cancel them.
Fixed Issues
PDF Send
Additional checks in place when sending audio files with instructions to remove special characters (i.e., /, \, :, *, ?, <, >, etc.) from the MP3, MP4 and WAV file names prior to adding them to a zipped file. Previously, when invalid characters were present, the audio file would not be included in the zip file sent to the traffic recipient via PDF.
Instructions
The expand/collapse grid controls were updated to open & close traffic groups correctly when multiple groups are present in the instruction.
sTraffic Release 9.9

Features
PDF Send
For Spot instructions, stations listed in the body of the email will now display a new "PDF Send To" for each station listing all the emails included in the PDF send represented in the Primary, Secondary and Other contacts.
Fixed Issues
Traffic Revisions
When creating multiple traffic revisions on an instruction, if at some time the PDF contacts are unchecked during the send for a station, the station will still be considered for a new revision # during the next Create Revision process. Previously, an error would occur when creating multiple revisions for a station after the PDF contacts were unchecked if Revision Comments were added as part of the revision.
sTraffic Release 9.8
Release Date: November 20, 2022
Features
Default Settings / Logo
Added ability to save client specific logo files. When the Report Logo option is True on the Traffic Instruction Report, the report will first look to see if there is a client specific logo to print on the report. If there is no client specific logo saved for the instruction, the report will then print the agency specific logo on the report.
PDF Send
Spot Instructions sent via PDF will now look at the contact emails saved in the Primary, Secondary or Other fields for each vendor in a Traffic Group in the instruction and will only issue one email to the recipient for all corresponding vendors. The Subject of the email was updated to reflect that Traffic Instructions for multiple syscodes/stations are being delivered instead of listing each station name. And the body of the email was updated to list the individual systems/stations in the instruction.
Default Settings / Logo
The ability to search by Market Groups has been added to the search criteria.
Fixed Issues
Traffic Revisions
In revision situations where not all the traffic groups in an instruction are in a state of revised, making changes to the Traffic Instruction Report Options prior to sending the revisions out, will no longer update all the non-revised traffic groups to Revised/Not Sent.
Default Settings / Logo
Increased the size limit for logo images to 960x280 to increase the sharpness of the logo image printed on the Traffic Instruction Report.
Electronic Send
Using the Invite link will now open the window to enter a Traffic Contact Name and Email. Previously, the Invite link would quickly open the window to enter the recipient information and close.
sTraffic Release 9.6
Release Date: June 4, 2022
Features
Archiving
Adding indexes in sTraffic to facilitate archiving functionality. Archiving data from sTraffic is a script-based, back end query that is run on the sTraffic database based on a cutoff date parameter either across all agency accounts, or individually requested per agency, to remove Estimate, Instruction and Creatives from the database. Removing this data from the database will then clean up the Agency, Office, Client and Product search filters and potentially shrink search results in various screens and reports.
Included with this deployment, the cutoff date of 1/1/2018 was run on the sTraffic database for all clients removing all estimate, instruction and creative dated prior to that cutoff date.

The Export to CSV was updated so the Time field will populate the date time stamp of the send information. Previously, it was populating with Null.
Fixed Issues
Traffic Alert
If a schedule was sent to sTraffic and then subsequently cancelled in SBMS by removing all the spots and sent as a revision to sTraffic, the Traffic Alert will display the following message, “Either the schedule has been deleted in SBMS or the instructions for this estimate’s date range have already been created. No new instructions can be created.” Previously, when a cancelled schedule was resent to sTraffic as a revision the Create New Instruction window would display 1/1/2001 start and end dates.

Previously, for new instructions, the Creative would only copy to the first selected record of the Unit View and not all the lines.
CAD Send
Updated how vendor changes sync between sTraffic and AdDelivery, particularly for vendors that already have synced once but then later get a new AKA added for that vendor in CAD as a vendor update. Previously, edits made to the CAD AKA fields for existing vendors were not syncing properly in sTraffic.

sTraffic Release 8.8
Release Date: November 2, 2021
Fixed Issues
Traffic Status
Search results which contain more than one estimate for the same client and have multiple missing traffic alerts to display will now display the alerts and the start dates correctly. Previously, introduced in v8.7, the search results could display unnecessary alerts for estimates which really do not need new instructions created. The query results could also display missing traffic with start dates for an estimate that belongs to another estimate for that same client.

Traffic Status (Spot schedules)
The Start & End Dates that display for Estimates in the Traffic Status grid based on their Traffic Alert settings in Default Settings and have no instructions created yet will reflect the earliest on-air date (Start Date) and latest on-air date (End Date) based on the schedule. Previously, the Start & End Dates that displayed in this scenario reflected the earliest Monday start date and latest Sunday end date of the broadcast week for the schedules in the estimate. NOTE: These changes will only be reflected in estimates sent to sTraffic after the v8.6 release date – a new Day of Week field needs to be populated from SBMS to sTraffic. Estimates previously sent before v8.6 release can be resent to sTraffic in order to reflect changes to Start & End Dates.

The report will now display if the same Program Name exists for multiple units in the same instruction where the program name is mixed with the upper- and lower-case characters. Features
Network Instructions/Electronic NBCU API Integration
When multiple NBC networks are grouped together on an instruction and some of the networks fail to send to the NBCU API the Create Revision process has been updated to separate the networks that failed to send from the ones that successfully sent.
- If one or more networks failed to send to NBCU when Create Revision occurs a new Split Market Groups window will appear that displays the following message, "The following Groups have mixed status responses from NBC. To continue revision, failures need to be split into a separate Group from the ones that succeeded. Select Split to separate the Networks that Failed to send to NBC and the instruction will be reloaded."
- Selecting Split will automatically change the Instruction and a new Traffic Group will be created which will include any network that has an NBCU_Failed Sent Status. The Group Name will assume the previous group name plus adding '-Spl" to the end of the name to represent the split off group.
Traffic Instruction Report
A new option was added for Network Instructions to display the Deal # on the report at the package level.
Fixed Issues

Network Instructions / Send by Program
Wwhen an instruction includes some networks trafficked by Unit and other networks trafficked by Rotation and the Send by Program flag is used for the unit level instructions, the PDFs for the networks that have rotational traffic will now display when print previewed from the Send screen. Previously, when using the Send by Program flag in this situation, the page break by program will automatically set to True and apply to all networks in the instruction. The PDFs for networks with rotational traffic would display the message “Sorry, an error occurred while processing your request” since there was no way to exclude that PDF from the page break by Program was used.
Network Instructions/Electronic NBCU API Integration
If using the Copy Instruction tool to create instruction lines for an NBC network, sending this instruction to NBC will no longer get stuck in an In Transit status.
